WARNINGS. suicidal ideation in relation to a plot-relevant request to blow himself up for his goddess.   ROMANCE. happy with gen or romance. i assume a thread is gen unless it’s a shipping meme, but i'm happy for a thread to shift that way. love all companions, cross-canon. faves are astarion, shadowheart, minthara. open to tavs/surges if we’ve threaded before. will write smut or ftb. kink list, play gale as a service switch, so can roll with anything. i like shipping that's focused on character, emotional and relational development and/or set in the context of the wider plot / worldbuilding. not interested in sol or modern aus. if we've threaded before, assumed relationship is grand, but otherwise, i live for the build-up. much prefer the helping gale see worth in himself/his humanity route to mr wizard god king of losers. he's always going to be inclined to use the weave to wow a partner but my fave route is when tav tells him he doesn't have to! i also like more toxic entanglements involving his hunger for power and encouragement of others to pursue it, or his need to consume artefacts. STUFF I LIKE. i assume a good playthrough but i'm open to the evil route. i love minthara so will happily thread with her from either scenario. prefer canon settings or canon aus/what ifs/similar time periods/other fantasy canons, but also enjoy cross-canon. action and adventures, fight scenes, running a con, treating injuries. mutual hurt/comfort, deep emotional chats. tropey shit like trapped together, fake dating, body heat. i'm easy. open to aus, but let's talk: into similar period setting aus (i like court intrigue). love cross-canon and am familiar with a lot of similar fantasy settings (got/hotd, rop, witcher, wot, s&b, da) so super down to canon mash or au into those canons. fave dynamics involve verbal sparring/teasing! not interested in playing god-gale. love a meme thread being a gateway to long-term psls/connected threads. dealing with his arcane hunger never gets old for me. wishlist: supporting an evil route tav and subsequent guilt missing scenes of bonding with the other companions the party/ball we didn't get but deserved gale using magic to help others (dousing karlach with create water, conjuring light in the shadow-cursed lands, etc.) gale and shadowheart discussing their faith. dabbling with the shadow-weave (naughty!!) gale being able to feed on another person’s magic   OOC PERMISSIONS TIMEZONE.
